fees to trustee

November 25th, 2009 by Questions

i do understand that in bankruptcy, if I have surplus income, i pay 50% of that to the trustee, but if there is no surplus income do I pay a `preset` fee to the trustee or how does that work…..as far as the trustee getting paid for their services.

In the absence of surplus income you will pay a minimum fee that is set by the trustee’s office. For more information on what that is you will have to contact a local trustee for specifics.
