Senior and in debt
I am 64 and owe several thousand to CRA for income taxes for 2006, 2007, 2008. I live with my daughter and have no assets as previously declared corporate bankruptcy in 2005 (lost everything).
I am considering declaring personal bankruptcy. If I do, can CRA garness any CPP and OAS payments that I am/will receive?

If you file for bankruptcy all your creditors, including CRA, loose the ability to garnish your wages due to the Stay of Proceedings that is in place.
