American & Canadian Credit
Is there any differences in a bankruptcy if a few of your credit cards are from American companies that operate only in America?!?! Can you still include them in your debt or do you have to pay them off separately?
Thanks

In fact if you file for bankruptcy in Canada you are required by law to list and include your US (and other foreign) debt. Unfortunately, Canadian law will only release you from that debt in Canada. If you move to the US or have income there then your US creditors may take action against you in the US.
