purchases before bankrupcy
If I bought a computer one week before declaring bankruptcy, and I put it on the credit card, I understand I will be asked to pay it back. My question is will I be allowed to pay it off by month, as If I was paying off the credit card, or what is the usual practice?

This is up to the individual trustee, but standard practice is to allow these payments to be made over time. The only trick is that you have to have finished making the payments before you will be eligible for discharge.
