Only if you jointly signed for some of your father’s debts. For instance, did you both sign a car loan or have copies of the same credit cards? If you did and your dad files for bankruptcy then you will be expected to repay those debts.

If you did not jointly sign any debts with your father then your credit should not be affected by his bankruptcy.
