trustee fee

November 5th, 2005 by Questions

I have been reading the posts and I might have to seek help. How much are the fees for a trustee. I have read several posts about fees from people who have no money to pay. No money means exactly that.If a trustee examines your situation and they see there is no money what happens . Is pursuing this course of action only available to people who have means to pay for it. If i had means I would not be in the situation I am. I know there are lawyers if you cant pay for one .Are their trustees like this .

You are correct that everyone who considers personal bankruptcy is having financial trouble. The cost of a bankruptcy depends on your monthly income, your family size, and your assets. We suggest you contact a licensed trustee to determine the cost of a bankruptcy in your case. Most trustees will make payment arrangements with you.

If you are unable to pay anything, some trustees participate in the you Bankrupty assistance program where the cost of a bankruptcy may be reduced. However, in most cases the cost of the bankruptcy is based on the rules set out by the government, so a no cost bankruptcy is very unusual.
