Should I get some help?

I don’t have creditors calling me all the time, but I seem to be spending every spare cent and then some to pay my bills every month. I am getting nowhere it seems, and seem to be caught in a vicious circle.

Am I the kind of person who should be getting some advice?

I would definitely recommend contacting a trustee to review your situation. In my experience most people wait to long to seek out advice. Often if problems are caught early enough a bankruptcy can be averted or at the very least you may be able to avoid some of the unnecessary stress that many people are forced to deal. I recommend contacting a reputable trustee in your local area and have him explain the various ways you can deal with your existing debt.

If it ever gets to the stage that collection agencies are calling you, let me know as I think I can help get them off your back. If you feel you are losing control, the first thing to do is get rid of your phone if it is in your name as they will drive you crazy with their calls. Of course it is always better to try to negotiate by calling your creditors and asking them to reduce or stop the interest or possibly get a break of a month or two without payments so you can catch up. Good Luck
