leaving country

credit card debt…..23,000
tax debt …15,000
permanent resident…not canadian.
can\’t pay debts…if i moved to another country, what would happen to my debts?

Your debts don’t disappear, all you’re doing is making it difficult for the lender to collect them. Difficult, not impossible. If you’re moving to the US, it is possible for Canadian lenders to hire US collectors. It really depends on the country.
