Help

March 4th, 2009 by Questions

In November of 2008 , I contacted a debt consolidation company and consolidated most of my husbands and my own credit debt. Be cause I think our Visa personal line of credit is somehow attached to our mortgage I did not consolidate this credit card. We have a mortgage and a vehicle loan as well as the usual bills, I am only working approx 60 hrs bi-weekly and my husband seems to always be working and we can not seem to get our head above water . We are always in our overdraft , well over our 550.00 mark all of the time .My children are going without proper clothing , and groceries , gas are being purchased by cheque. We are unable to pay our bills and manage to have cash on hand for bare needs. We need the vehicle tocommute as we both work out of town . We live in a rural community , I have been searching for another p/t job , but pickings are slim to none . Any ideas , should we file bankruptcy ?

It seems clear that the consoldiation route hasn’t helped to the extent that it should have. I suggest you either speak to them again (to update your situation) or you use the links on this site to contact a trustee in your area to review some other options.
