It s been 8 years since my bankruptcy, I was Able to get a mortgage with a bank just last month, no problems, no co-signer I had 20% down, Now I want a car, looking at GM credit application there is a question about ever declaring bankrupt , since I have been discharged and no longer showing on my credit report can I answers No.

If they ask you if you are currently bankrupt then you may say no. If they ask if you have EVER been bankrupt then the answer will always be YES, regardless of whether or not it appears on your credit bureau.
About 10% of all Canadians end up filing for bankruptcy at some point in their life – unfortunately, once you do, it will have to be disclosed any time anyone ever asks you…
