bankruptcy withdrawal
December 30th, 2012 by Questions
if your creditors vote you into bankruptcy…then 3 days later you realize they would likely have accepted a consumer proposal….is it too late to have the bankruptcy removed( as if it never happened) and reconvene and make a consumer proposal ( therefore never having a bankruptcy in your history at all, only a consumer proposal)

You have the right to file a consumer proposal even though you have already filed for bankruptcy – if the proposal is accepted by your crediotrs then your bankruptcy will be automatically annulled. Either speak to your trustee or find a new one if for some reason you don’t want to deal with the same people for the proposal…
