As far as I am aware, the filing of a bankruptcy should not have any impact on your permanent resident status. I have dealt with many permanent residence and never seen or heard of them running into any trouble. However, if you are nervous I would suggest you contact the department of the federal government that you deal with this on and ask them the same question.
