If i claim on my income tax my spouse as married will she be effected as i was the bread winner till i broke my back in august, and she has no job.

I assume you are referring to the filing of a bankruptcy. If that is the case then as long as your wife hasn’t signed on any of your debts, then you really don’t have to worry as responsibly for debt and marital relationship are not connected.
