Bankruptcy & Inheritance

If I was caught cheating on my bankruptcy by not disclosing assets that I had and was caught then 2 years subsequent to my discharge I inherit money less than the amount of my original bankruptcy can the Licensed Insolvency Trustee take this money away from me?

This largely depends on the status of your bankruptcy. If you have been discharged then you likely don’t have to worry. If you are still in bankruptcy and have not received your discharge you legally have to inform your trustee and likely the money will be lost. Failure to disclose this could have dramatic implications on how the remainder of your bankruptcy will proceed.
