income tax and bankruptcy

February 10th, 2009 by Questions

this will be my first year to be filing my taxes on my own after bankruptcy.

Typically I would get my uncle to do its just how it works in my family. He does not know I went backrput, but is aware he will be filing my taxes this year and dosent ask why he didnt last year…. my question is does it specificallly say anywheres on an income tax `click here if you declared bankruptcy` or anything like that?

thankyou

There is no where on the normal tax forms that has you identify anything about a previous bankruptcy or anything like that. You should have no problems with your uncle filing the return, but the only trick is a paper copy must be filed, he won’t be able to file it electronically.
