post bankruptcy business records retention

September 16th, 2008 by Questions

I am now discharged from my bankruptcy that included my business. How long do I need to keep my business records on file? Since everything was written off in the bankruptcy can I distroy them now or have to keep them for 6 years?
Thx.

You must still keep these records for 6 years. This is a requirement that is not changed by bankruptcy.
