Am I allowed to relocate after claiming bankruptcy

Is it true that once you have claimed bankruptcy you are not allowed to relocate, In Canada or the United States or anywhere else… I was told that you could be denied entry.

This isn’t true. I have seen many people relocate outside of Canada during the middle of a bankruptcy. The onluy trick is there are certain duties that we must ensure are arranged for (i.e. counseling sessions, income and expense statements etc.) and these arrangements are best made prior to you leaving, so just ensure you discuss this with your trustee.
