I declared bankruptcy in 2001 but never went to get discharged. What are my options now to get back on track.

You won’t like my answer – you need to contact the trustee that was handling your file and ask them what you need to do in order to be discharged.
You may hire a lawyer or another trustee to assist you, but your original trustee is going to have to tell the Court what you are still required to do so hiring anyone else simply means you are going to pay two guys to do the job of one.
Give your trustee a call and/or go and see them to determine what you have to do to finish the job.
