Missed debit
October 1st, 2007 by Questions
I filed for personal bankruptcy and was discharged a couple of years ago. A year or two after the discharge a previous creditor ( incured prior to the bankruptcy ) was brought to my attention. Can I have that creditor attached to the previous bankruptcy?

Technically speaking the bankruptcy will have an impact on these missed creditors, but you will still be held responsible for a portion. What you are responsible to do is provide the creditors with the level of repayment they would have received should they have been informed about the bankruptcy.
For more information on what now needs to be done you are best to contact your trustee’s office.
