About Trustees Talk

Trustees Talk is a weekly series of articles written by Canadian bankruptcy trustees about bankruptcy in Canada.

Our goal will be to talk about bankruptcy issues, and how they impact on Canadians in financial trouble, or advisors who help people with financial problems.  Trustees Talks will be about the hidden side of bankruptcy, and insider’s view showing you what you need to know about the impact of bankruptcy in Canada.

We will not emphasize technical information.  Our main Bankruptcy Canada site has the answers to all of your bankruptcy questions.  Start with the Frequently Asked Questions page, or visit the Bankruptcy Canada Blog that has thousands of answers to bankruptcy questions submitted by readers.  If you want to hear from people considering bankruptcy, or Canadians who have been through the process, check out the Bankruptcy Canada Online Support Group.

Finally, if you want to talk to a trustee about your situation, we have assembled a list of trustees across Canada, licensed by the federal government, that offer no-charge, no obligation initial consultations.  Simply take one minute to provide some details on your situation in our Online Bankruptcy Evaluation Form, and a local trustee will respond to you as quickly as possible.
