If your in bankruptcy and win a lottery. Do you just pay back the amount you went bankrupt for, or do they keep all of it. Just hoping i win one day

so i can clear this mess up lol... But really what happens thanks.

Hi,

As I understand it, your trustee would receive what you won, pay the creditors the amounts of their original claims, and return the rest to you.
