Using a new CP to get out of a cell phone contract?

Hi All, I'm filing on Weds for my CP. Hubby wants me to include our Telus Mobility cell phones in the mix. We are behind one month, the bills so high all the time and we can lower our monthly bill by switching to Rogers. Should I call Telus to cancel the contracts, adding $1300 to our bill then add it into the CP? I realize I'd never be able to go back to Telus but I'm worried Rogers may not sign us up. I should sign up before the CP shows on my bureau?

Your trustee would be the best person to gave you the answer to your question. You should bring your Telus contrat when you talk to him. Ther is always the prepaid cell, wich is a good way to keep you cost under control.
Good luck.
