I am leaning towards declaring bankrupsy, but I can't seem to get a straight answer in terms of my RRSP.
Some trustees have said I will have to draw some funds from there, some say it's exempt from bankrupsy, and some just don't know.
Does anyone have an answer?

Bas eon what I have read and also what my trustee told me, if you RRSP were contributed in the past 12 month, you will have to count them.  If the contributionj is more than 12 months, they do not count.

Any RRSP contributions made in the last 12 months must be turned over to the trustee in bankruptcy, contributions made longer than 12 months ago are yours to keep. DO NOT make withdrawls  from your RRSP. You will need this money after the bankruptcy is done.
