I filed for Bankruptcy on April 21 and all of the creditor calls have stopped with the exception of 2 creditors.  Should I give them a week or 2 to get up to speed before I report it?  I am not answering the calls...just letting them go to voicemail and once in a while they leave a message, ut most of the time they don't.

I didn't file for Bankruptcy, but for a Consumer Proposal. I had a few calls after filing, but I did answer the phone and said what I had done and for the collector to phone my Trustee...I gave his name and phone number. The collectors were very nice and polite, and I had no more calls after that.

I'd recommend that you answer the phone and let them know the situation.  You don't have to talk to them, and by law, they are not to phone/harass you after being notified of the bankruptcy....so you have nothing to be afraid of.

I hope that helps!
