Can a trustee charge more for a personal bankruptcy procedure than the set rate? For example can they charge $2500 dollars, because they said your file is larger than normal?

I`m currently making monthly payments to my trustees office for the cost of my bankruptcy. If I were to pay the balance owing in full (a family member has now offered to pay it for me), am I still required to submit monthly income/expense statements, and my surplus earnings (if any)?

A friend has no money, no job and has lost everything. He is on social assistance and disability. He should go bankrupt but has no money or assests that can be used to pay a trustee. Is there any assistance available in this typre of situation.
