You are correct, during bankruptcy one of your responsibilities to is to keep receipts for any money that is spent, complete a summary sheet and provide a copy of this to your trustee. If needed the trustee may request to see the receipts, which you are required to keep on hand. This is one of the standard duties of every bankrupt and if it is not done appropriately the court will not grant a discharge of your debts.
