As long as you have lived here for greater than 1 year (which it sounds like you have) then you would qualify. What I would recommend is that you contact a <a HREF="http://www.bankruptcy-edmonton.com/bankruptcy-trustees-in-edmonton.htm" rel="nofollow">local trustee</A> and they will be able assist you. You don’t need to be a permanent resident to file for bankruptcy. As long as you have lived here for greater than 1 year (which it sounds like you have) then you would qualify.

What I would recommend is that you contact a local trustee and they will be able assist you.
