I am currently in bankruptcy. Am I able to apply for either a secured or pre-paid credit card while still in bankruptcy?

Certainly – I beleive the secured card cmpnaies will not issue you a card until you are 3 months or more into your bankruptcy (their policy, not a law). You may obtain a prepaid card whenever you like as they are not actually extending any credit (it’s your money you asre spending).
