		<description>As long as the loans are not in her name then the debts are yours.  There is really nothing that the creditors can do to pursue your spouse as they have no legal authority.  

However, if your wife has signed on any of these things then she is fully responsible  for the outstanding amounts.  As you can see this responsibility has nothing to do whith who paid the household expenses it has to do with who&#039;s name is listed on the loans and credit cards.</description>
