is there a minimum amount to be owed before you can declare personal bankruptcy in Canada? can your debt be under 10 thousand?

If you owe more than $1,000 and are unable to pay your debts you are eligible to go bankrupt. To determine if this is the correct option for you, contact a licensed trustee.
