		<description>If they ask the question you are obligated to answer truthfully.  Failure to answer truthfully will likkely cause greater difficulties during the job applicaiton process.  As for the employer finding out, a bankruptcy is a matter of public record.  So a simple search through the Superintendent of Bankruptcy&#039;s office is all that is needed to verify the presence or absence of a bankruptcy and this is a record that is not purged like the credit bureau.</description>
