If more and more people are getting in trouble with credit cards, why isn\’t the secured credit card encouraged more? Wouldn\’t credit card companies be helping people if they marketed secured credit more? I only heard about secured credit cards after it was too late. Posted from: Ontario

I was wondering after the Consumer proposal is finished and during that time had a mortgage and or car payment and kept all this upto date, does this help with your credit rating after the proposal term? Posted from: Ontario

What happens if someone I know transfers his house over to his parents (step father and mother) to protect it from bankruptcy then takes title back once he is out of bankruptcy? I believe the span was 4 years Posted from: Ontario

I am meeting with a trustee in a few weeks. He said that he will charge approximately $500-$1200 for the meeting. Is this standard? From what I\’ve read, consultations are free? I do have a complex case so I wonder if the fee reflects that? Posted from: British Columbia
